About
We listen first, then connect you with the right firm
M&E Capital Group takes its name from its founders, Andriy Markiv and Michael Evers. M and E: Markiv and Evers.
What we do
Tax strategy, and a network built to carry it out
Our work starts with one moment: someone has made a lot of money, or is about to. We hear out property owners, business owners, founders and investors, understand what they want the money to do, and connect them with the strategy and the partner firm that fit: 1031 exchanges, Delaware Statutory Trusts, Deferred Sales Trusts, 721 exchanges, annuities, oil and gas deductions and charitable giving.
We know this space inside and out, and we have spent years building relationships with the firms that do the work. We do not name them publicly. We choose the right one for each person once we understand their situation, and we stay available after the introduction.
How we work
What you can expect from us
Goals before introductions
We never pick a partner firm before we understand your situation, your timeline and what you want the money to do.
Your CPA and attorney stay yours
The partner firm works alongside the people you already trust. Nothing replaces them.
Trade-offs stated plainly
Every approach on this site asks you to give something up. We say what, before you decide.
Our network
Who we work with
Wealth managers
For portfolio and income planning once the money is free to invest.
CPAs and tax attorneys
Who model the numbers and sign off on the structure.
Business brokers
For owners selling a company, before the letter of intent is signed.
Realtors
For property owners who need replacement property found on a deadline.
Funding partners
Capital for founders, operators and the companies we help scale.
Charities and foundations
For owners who want a gift to do real good as well as reduce tax.
Beyond tax strategy
Founders, events, charities and our own companies
We host fundraising events and support charities, and we run startup accelerators. We work with many startups, connecting founders with funding partners and with the companies that help them scale.
We also own and operate several companies of our own. That is part of why we understand a large sale from the seller's side, and why a founder who has just exited is often already someone we know.
Separately, a small data desk helps companies find out whether the data they already hold could be licensed to developers training AI models. About the data desk.
What we will not do
Lines we hold
- Offer or sell anything on this website. Everything specific happens in a conversation.
- Name a data buyer publicly, or claim an affiliation with any AI developer or platform.
- Take title to a client's data.
- Pass your details to a partner firm before you agree to the introduction.
