Who we are

This website, mecapitalgroup.com, is operated by M&E Capital Group ("we", "us"). This policy covers information collected through the website. It does not cover information you share with us in a later conversation or under a separate agreement, which is governed by that agreement.

What the contact form collects

The only personal information the site asks for is what you type into the contact form:

• your name
• your company, if you give one
• your email address
• your phone number, if you give one
• the topic you pick from the list
• your message

We use it to reply to you, to arrange a conversation and, if you agree, to introduce you to a partner firm, and for nothing else. We do not add you to a mailing list from the form.

Where it goes

The site is hosted by Netlify, and form submissions are received and stored by Netlify Forms on our behalf. Netlify processes them as our service provider, under its own privacy policy and security controls. Only the people at M&E Capital Group who handle enquiries can read them.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information and we do not share it for advertising. The way we work is to hear you out and then introduce you to a partner firm suited to your goals. We share your details with that partner firm only after you have agreed to the introduction, and only what the firm needs to pick up the conversation. From then on, the partner firm handles your information under its own privacy policy.

For the data desk, nothing about your company's data is shared with any third party before a nondisclosure agreement is in place, and not even then without your agreement.

Beyond that, we disclose information only where the law requires it.

What the site records automatically

The site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising trackers. Two things happen automatically, as they do on most websites:

• Netlify, as the host, keeps standard server logs of requests, which include your IP address, browser type and the page requested, for security and reliability.
• Headings use a typeface served by Google Fonts, so your browser requests it from Google, which receives your IP address with that request.

If the site ever adds analytics, this section will say so, and will name the service, before it goes live.

How long we keep it

We keep contact form submissions for as long as we need them to respond to you and to keep a record of the conversation, and we delete them when they are no longer needed for that. You can ask us to delete yours sooner at any time.

Your choices

You can ask to see the information you sent us, to correct it, or to have it deleted. Send the request through the contact form and say what you would like us to do. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under your state's privacy law, and we will honour them.

Children

This site is intended for adults and for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update it here and change the date at the top.
