Your company's data may be worth licensing.
Developers training AI models license proprietary business data: call transcripts, structured records, specialist workflows, domain expertise. We run a confidential review of what you hold, help you decide what can safely be shared, and handle the conversation with buyers so you do not have to learn a fast moving market from scratch.
Who this fits
Data that builds up as a by-product of running the business
If your company has accumulated real world data simply by operating, it is worth a conversation. That includes:
Conversations
Call recordings and transcripts, chat logs, support tickets and other recorded interactions between people.
Structured records
Transaction histories, operational logs and domain datasets built up over years of running the business.
Expert work
Documented procedures, decisions and judgement calls that took real expertise to produce.
Owned content
Written, visual or audio material your company owns outright and controls the distribution of.
Hard to replicate
Anything a well funded developer would otherwise spend months or years collecting.
Companies in transition
Winding down, restructuring, or simply holding an asset nobody has priced yet.
How it works
Three steps, at the pace of a confidential deal
Most companies know within a week whether there is a real opportunity worth pursuing.
Confidential review
We look at what you hold, under NDA, at no cost and with no obligation. You decide what gets described and in how much detail.
Structure
We work through redaction, consent, scope and exclusivity with you, so what goes to market is something you are comfortable licensing.
Introduction
We introduce you to buyers sourcing data like yours and stay involved through negotiation. The agreement is always directly between your company and the buyer you choose.
Why not go direct
The terms are not standardised, and they change quickly
Every buyer program is structured differently: different pricing models, exclusivity terms, redaction expectations and speed to close. Going in alone means learning all of that from one counterparty at a time, with nothing to compare an offer against.
- NDA first, before any detail leaves your hands.
- You keep ownership. We never take title to your data.
- No exclusivity required to start a review.
- Your agreement, directly with the buyer you choose.
Questions
AI training data questions
What kind of data qualifies?
Data your company produced or collected, that is specific and hard to replicate, and that you have the right to license. The review exists to answer this for your situation, and most companies underestimate what they hold.
Do I have to license exclusively, or give up control?
No. Exclusivity, scope and term are all negotiated with the buyer you choose. We help you understand the trade-offs. We do not set the terms for you.
How does M&E Capital Group charge?
There is no charge for the initial review. If we go further together, the terms are set out in writing before any further work begins. We never buy, hold or resell your data.
Is any of my data shared before I agree?
No. The review happens under NDA, at the level of detail you are comfortable with. Nothing specific goes to anyone outside M&E Capital Group without your written sign-off.
Who are the buyers?
We do not name buyers publicly, and we do not claim any affiliation with or endorsement by any AI developer or data platform. Specific counterparties are discussed one to one, under NDA, once there is something worth discussing.
How fast does this move?
The review itself is quick, often a single conversation. How long a license takes after that depends on the data and the buyer.
